How To Install Wordpress In cPanel
We provide a quick install for WordPress. If you want to install WordPress please follow these instructions.
- Log into your cPanel.
- Scroll down until you're near the bottom of the page.
- Go to the section entitled "Software/Services."
- Click on the Softaculous icon.
- On the Softaculous page, select the "WordPress" link on the left sidebar.
- Click on "New Installation."
- Choose which domain you want this WordPress installed on. If you've got a hosting plan that allows only one website e.g Echo 2 or Silver-U, this will default to your domain. If you have a shared hosting plan e.g. Echo 3 or Gold-U, you can choose which domain you want this WordPress install to be on.
- In the section that says "Admin access data," this is where you will put the Admin username and password you want to use to log into your WordPress dashboard.
- Fill in the "Base Configuration" fields with the nickname you want. Also, add in your email address and the website's domain name.
- Click "Install WordPress."
- You will be given the domain information. If it says it is being installed on the domain you selected, click "Finish Installation."
- You've now installed WordPress on your domain. Please take note of your login information.
